Trina solar panels price in Pakistan depends mostly on which Vertex N size you choose, because Trina now sells almost only N-type TOPCon panels here, from roughly 590 W up past 700 W. This guide explains the Trina range model by model, what the factory warranty covers when you buy through a Pakistani importer, how to spot a relabelled panel and how Trina compares with Jinko, Longi and JA on price per watt. The live prices on this page come from our price sheet and update with it.

About Trina solar

Trina Solar is one of the oldest and largest Chinese module makers. It was founded in 1997 in Changzhou, Jiangsu, and today it makes its own cells and modules at very large scale. It has been a fixture on BloombergNEF’s Tier 1 list of bankable module manufacturers for years, alongside Jinko, Longi and JA Solar.

In Pakistan, Trina is not the panel every shop pushes first, the way Longi and Jinko are, but it has a steady share in commercial jobs, factories and larger homes. In September 2024 Trina launched its Vertex N 720 W series in Pakistan, aimed at buyers who want fewer, bigger panels on a roof or a ground-mounted array.

What sets Trina apart technically is its focus on 210 mm and 210R cell formats. Most panels in Pakistani shops still use 182 mm square-ish cells. Trina’s 210R cells are rectangular, which lets it make a panel that is wider and more powerful without becoming awkwardly long. That matters on a roof, as you will see in the models section.

Trina solar panel models explained

Trina’s own product page lists the Vertex N family in several versions. In Pakistan you will mostly meet three size classes, and our sheet tracks one panel in each.

Size class on our sheetTrina familyCell formatLive pricePrice per watt

Vertex N 210R, the 600 to 625 W class

This is the TSM-NEG19RC.20 family, and it is the Trina panel that makes the most sense for an ordinary Pakistani home. Datasheet figures for a 615 W version: 132 N-type TOPCon cells, about 23% module efficiency, a size of 2382 × 1134 × 30 mm, a weight of 33 kg and a temperature coefficient of −0.29% per °C. The width of 1134 mm is the same as the common 182 mm panels, so it fits the standard structures and rails that installers already use. You get more watts per plate without redesigning the frame.

Vertex N 210 mm, the 700 W plus class

This is the TSM-NEG21C.20 family, launched in Pakistan as the 720 W series with a stated 23.2% efficiency. The version sold in Pakistan now is the Vertex N Ultra, rated 730 to 740 W; there is no 750 W Trina panel on the market here. These panels are about 2384 × 1303 mm, so they are both long and wide. They save on structure, wiring and labour per kilowatt on a big flat roof or a ground mount, but on a crowded home roof with a water tank and stairs, they are hard to place and hard for two people to lift onto the roof.

Vertex N around 590 W

The 590 W class sits between the older 182 mm 72-cell panels and the 210R panels. It is a sensible pick if your installer has already designed the structure for the 2.2 to 2.3 metre panel length and you want N-type cells without changing anything else. Check the exact model code on the rear label, because Trina runs several Vertex N versions in this power band.

Vertex S+ for small roofs

Trina also makes the Vertex S+ range of smaller dual-glass panels around 480 W for home roofs in Europe and Australia. They are rarely stocked in Pakistan because buyers here prefer the cheapest rupees per watt, which bigger panels deliver.

The full price list across every brand at these sizes is on the 620 watt panel price page and the 750 watt panel price page.

Which Trina size suits which job

JobBest Trina sizeWhy
5 kW home system, normal roof620 W (210R)Fits standard rails, fewer plates than 550 W
10 to 15 kW home with a big roof620 W or 700 W plus700 W plus saves structure cost if there is open space
Shop or office roof with obstacles590 W or 620 WEasier to fit around tanks and walls
Factory roof or ground mount700 W plusLowest structure and cable cost per kW
Agricultural tubewell array700 W plusGround mount, rear-side gain from bifacial glass

Panel counts for a 10 kW system: 17 panels at 620 W, or 14 panels at 750 W. Fewer panels mean fewer clamps, fewer MC4 joints and less to clean.

Bifacial gain on a Pakistani roof

Most Vertex N panels sold here are dual-glass bifacial, which means the back of the panel also produces some power from light reflected off the surface below. How much you actually gain depends on mounting, not on the panel.

Mounting situationRear-side gain you can expect
Panels flat on a tin shed, very low gapClose to nothing
Standard rooftop structure over a grey concrete roofSmall
Elevated structure over a white-painted or light roofNoticeable
Ground mount over light soil or gravel, high clearanceHighest

Dealers sometimes quote the best-case rear gain as if every roof will get it. Plan your system on the front-side rating and treat any bifacial gain as a bonus. If you have a flat concrete roof, a coat of white reflective paint under the array and a structure with decent height helps both rear-side output and roof temperature.

Trina solar panel warranty in Pakistan

Trina’s Vertex N dual-glass panels carry two separate warranties on the datasheet. Taking the NEG19RC.20 210R panel as the example:

Damage found early is easier to settle under the product warranty.

Product warranty12 years, materials and workmanship
Power warranty30 years, linear
First-year degradationNot more than 1%
Yearly degradation after year oneNot more than 0.4%
Guaranteed power at year 30About 87% of nameplate

Trina’s newer premium versions and its Vertex S+ range advertise longer product cover (Vertex S+ is sold with 25 years product and 30 years power), so read the label and datasheet for the exact model you buy rather than assuming.

Here is the part that matters in Pakistan: the warranty is issued by the factory, but in practice your claim goes through the importer who brought the container in. Trina does not run a retail service centre in every city. So the warranty is only as useful as the importer’s paperwork.

  • Buy from a dealer who can name the importer and show that the stock came in through official channels.
  • Ask for the invoice to list every serial number, the model code and the date.
  • Ask the importer how claims work: who inspects, who pays for removal and transport, and how long replacement takes.
  • Keep the datasheet for your exact model with your papers. Datasheet values are what a power claim is measured against.

Power warranty claims need proof: an IV curve test by a qualified technician showing the panel is below the guaranteed curve after allowing for temperature and dirt. That is rare for home users. The product warranty, which covers things like junction box failure or delamination, is the one you are more likely to use.

What a Trina warranty will not cover

  • Cracks from people walking on panels during cleaning or installation.
  • Damage from storms that lift a poorly anchored structure.
  • Burn marks caused by loose or mismatched MC4 connectors fitted by the installer.
  • Panels bought as B-grade, cut pieces or “export rejects”.
  • Output loss from dust, bird droppings or shading, which is a cleaning and design problem, not a defect.

How to check an original Trina panel

Trina is a big name, which makes it a target for relabelling. Fakes in Pakistan are usually lower-grade panels with a Trina sticker, or real Trina B-grade stock sold as A-grade. Use the panel’s own size and design as your first check, because those are hard to fake.

  1. Measure it. A Vertex N 620 W (210R) panel is about 2382 × 1134 mm. A 700 W plus Vertex N is about 2384 × 1303 mm. A “720 W Trina” that is only 1134 mm wide is not a Trina 720 W panel.
  2. Look at the cells. Vertex N 210R and 210 mm panels have large cells in a 132-cell (66 per half) layout. A panel with 144 small half-cells is a different product.
  3. Check the glass on both sides. Vertex N panels sold here are mostly dual-glass bifacial. A white plastic back sheet on a panel sold as Vertex N bifacial is a red flag.
  4. Read the label. The rear label shows the full model code (for example TSM-620NEG19RC.20), Pmax, Voc, Isc and a serial. The serial should match the barcode under the front glass and the box label.
  5. Ask for the flash test data. Importers often have the factory flash test list for each pallet, showing the measured power of every serial. A genuine panel’s serial will be on that list.
  6. Check grade wording. Stock marked or sold as B-grade, “cut piece” or “slightly damaged” is not covered like A-grade, whatever the dealer says.

Trina vs other Tier 1 brands

Trina competes directly with Jinko, Longi, JA and Canadian. The cleanest comparison is at the sizes where all of them have a panel on our sheet.

Neighbours often choose different top brands with similar results.

Read across the price-per-watt column: between these Tier 1 brands the gap is usually small, and it swings from one shipment to the next. The bigger difference between these brands is not the price. It is the panel format.

If you are building a large system and have the space, Trina’s 700 W plus class has few direct rivals on our sheet; the Risen HJT panels are the main alternative. For a normal home, the Trina 620 W and the Jinko 620 W are close enough that dealer trust and warranty paperwork should decide. See how all the brands line up in our best solar panels in Pakistan guide and on the Jinko price page.

When a cheaper 585 W panel makes more sense

Not every buyer needs a 210R or 210 mm Trina panel. If your roof is small, your structure is already built for 2278 mm long panels, and you are only installing 3 to 6 kW, a 585 W N-type panel from another Tier 1 brand may be the simpler buy. The cheapest 585 W panel on our sheet is currently Rs 23,400, and the full comparison is on the 585 watt solar panel price page. Trina starts to win when you want more kilowatts on the same rails, or when a bigger system makes the lower structure cost per kW count.

Trina solar panels: pros and cons

ProsCons
Long-standing Tier 1 maker with its own cellsSmaller dealer network in Pakistan than Longi or Jinko
Full N-type TOPCon range, low first-year loss700 W plus panels are heavy and awkward on small roofs
210R panels fit standard 1134 mm railsProduct warranty on mainstream Vertex N is 12 years, not 25
Strong option for 700 W plus commercial arraysSeveral similar model codes make shopping confusing
Price per watt often competitive with JinkoWarranty claims run through importers, not a local Trina office

In short: Trina is a safe technical choice, with a slight edge for large systems because of its big-format panels. Its weak point in Pakistan is distribution. In a big city you will find Trina easily; in a small town you may be talked into whatever the local dealer has in stock.

Who should buy Trina solar panels

  • Home owners putting 10 kW or more on a roof with open space, who want fewer, bigger plates.
  • Factories, warehouses and schools where structure and labour cost per kilowatt matter more than plate size.
  • Farmers running solar tubewells on a ground mount, where bifacial dual glass earns its keep.
  • Buyers who want a long-standing Tier 1 name but find Jinko and Longi stock in their city overpriced or doubtful.

Who should skip Trina? Someone with a small, cluttered roof and a 3 kW budget, who will be better served by whichever Tier 1 panel their trusted local dealer stocks at the lowest price per watt. In that case, saving on the panel and spending on a good structure and proper earthing gives a better system than chasing a brand name.

Where to buy Trina solar panels

Trina panels reach Pakistan through importers and their dealer networks, mostly in Lahore, Karachi, Islamabad and Rawalpindi, and from there to smaller cities. We do not list individual dealers because stock and authorisations change. Instead, follow these steps to buy safely in any city.

Workers loading boxed Trina panels onto a pickup in Sahiwal
Stock reaches smaller cities through dealers supplied from the big markets.
  1. Ask two or three dealers for a written quote for the same model code, not just “Trina 620”.
  2. Ask each dealer which importer supplied the stock and whether the importer will stand behind a warranty claim.
  3. Compare the quote against the live price on this page. A big gap below market is a warning, not a bargain.
  4. Pay a small advance only, and the balance after you have checked size, label and serials on delivery.
  5. Get the datasheet, invoice and serial list in one envelope before the installer leaves.
City typeWhat to expect
Lahore, Karachi, IslamabadSeveral dealers, both 620 W and 700 W plus in stock
Faisalabad, Multan, Gujranwala, PeshawarUsually available, larger sizes on order
Smaller townsOften ordered from a big-city dealer, check delivery and breakage terms

Breakage in transit is common with big dual-glass panels. Ask who pays if a panel arrives cracked, and inspect every panel before the truck leaves.

Handling big Trina panels on site

A 700 W plus Vertex N panel is more than 2.3 metres long and 1.3 metres wide, and dual-glass panels of that size are heavy. A few habits prevent most breakages:

  • Carry panels on edge with two people, never flat on one person’s head.
  • Do not stack loose panels flat on the roof; keep them in the box until mounting.
  • Use clamps rated for the panel’s frame thickness and fix them in the zones marked in the installation manual.
  • Keep at least a small gap between rows so cleaners never need to step on glass.

Frequently asked questions

What is the Trina solar panel price in Pakistan?

The cheapest Trina panel on our sheet is Rs 23,600, checked on 31 Oct 2026. Prices differ by size class, so compare the 590 W, 620 W and 700 W plus Vertex N panels by price per watt, not by the price of one plate.

Are Trina solar panels good for Pakistan's heat?

Yes. The Vertex N panels sold here use N-type TOPCon cells, which lose less power as they heat up than older PERC panels, and the 210R version has a temperature coefficient of about −0.29% per °C on its datasheet. Good airflow under the panels still matters in June.

Is Trina a Tier 1 solar panel company?

Yes. Trina Solar has been on BloombergNEF's Tier 1 list of bankable module manufacturers for many years and makes its own cells and modules.

Which Trina solar panel is best for a home?

For most homes the Vertex N 210R panel in the 600 to 625 W class is the best fit. It is about 1134 mm wide, so it sits on standard rails, but gives more watts per plate than a 550 W panel.

What warranty do Trina solar panels have in Pakistan?

The mainstream Vertex N dual-glass panels carry a 12-year product warranty and a 30-year linear power warranty on the datasheet. In Pakistan, claims go through the importer, so get the serial numbers and importer's name on your invoice.

How do I know if a Trina panel is original?

Check that the size matches the claimed wattage, the cells are the large 132-cell layout, the panel is dual glass if sold as bifacial, and the serial on the label matches the barcode under the glass. Ask the dealer for the importer's flash test list for your serials.

Is Trina better than Jinko?

Both are large Tier 1 makers with N-type TOPCon panels, and on a normal home roof the difference is small. Trina has the edge for big systems with its 700 W plus panels, while Jinko is easier to find and resell in most Pakistani cities.

Are Trina 700 watt panels too big for a house roof?

They can be. At about 2.38 by 1.30 metres and well over 30 kg, they suit large open roofs, sheds and ground mounts better than small roofs with tanks and stairs.
