Crown solar panel price in Pakistan is usually a little below the big Chinese brands, which is exactly why so many buyers ask about it. Crown is a Karachi-based brand with an unusually wide panel range: frameless anti-dust panels, fibreglass and steel-framed panels, big bifacial plates and small 180 W panels for single-room setups. This page sorts out which Crown panels exist, what the warranty really says, how to check a genuine Crown panel and how Crown compares with Tier 1 brands.

About Crown solar
Crown Solar Energy is part of Crown Group, a Pakistani company headquartered in Karachi. Its website lists two head offices: Crown Group at Park Towers in Clifton, and Crown Solar Energy at Deh Joreji in Bin Qasim. The group sells solar panels, inverters and lithium batteries, and also has an electric vehicle business.
Crown has been investing in local production, though not of panels so far. In April 2026, Business Recorder reported that Crown was close to completing a lithium battery plant at Port Qasim, Karachi, for LFP batteries used in electric vehicles and solar systems. Crown’s own website does not say where its panels are made and does not mention a panel factory, so treat the manufacturing source as undisclosed.

Is Crown a Tier 1 brand?
No, and that is normal for a Pakistani brand. BloombergNEF’s Tier 1 list ranks module factories whose panels banks have financed in large projects. Crown is a Pakistani brand that does not publish where its panels are made, and it is not on that list. What protects you instead is Crown’s local presence and helpline, and the IEC 61215 and IEC 61730 certificates that it lists for its models. Those are the basic international safety and durability tests every decent panel should pass.
Crown solar panel models explained
Crown’s website lists more panel types than most brands sold in Pakistan. Here is the full range, using the model names and figures Crown publishes.
| Crown model | Model code on Crown’s site | Power range | Technology and build |
|---|---|---|---|
| Crown Tiger | CSE-MF-180 to 200 | 180 W to 200 W | Small panel for off-grid and light loads |
| Crown Vista | Vista series | 575 W to 590 W | N-type TOPCon, frameless full-glass, anti-dust surface |
| Crown VistaX | CSE-VistaX-BF | 610 W to 625 W | Frameless glass-glass, anti-dust surface |
| Crown 620 Bifacial | CSE-BF 600 to 625 | 600 W to 625 W | N-type TOPCon, bifacial dual glass |
| Crown Fiber Glass | CSE-BF-610 to 630 | 610 W to 630 W | N-type TOPCon bifacial, fibreglass composite frame |
| Crown Steel Frame | CSE-BF-615 to 640 | 615 W to 640 W | N-type bifacial, zinc-aluminium-magnesium coated steel frame |
| Crown 710 Bifacial | CSE-BF-700 to 730 | 700 W to 730 W | N-type TOPCon, bifacial dual glass |
Crown does not publish efficiency figures or dimensions on most product pages. Several datasheets are linked from the site, and some are marked “coming soon”. Ask your dealer for the datasheet of the exact model before you buy, so you know its size and Voc for string design.
What our price sheet tracks
| Crown panel on our sheet | Live price | Price per watt |
|---|---|---|
| Crown N-type bifacial 585 W | Rs 23,400 | Rs 40 |
| Crown N-type TOPCon bifacial 620 W | Rs 24,800 | Rs 40 |
Crown’s older 550 W mono PERC panel is no longer sold, so our sheet now tracks its 585 W and 620 W N-type bifacial panels. Several Crown models share these sizes, so ask the dealer exactly which version you are getting and check the model code on the label. Compare all 585 W panels on the 585 watt solar panel price page.
What moves the Crown solar panel price
- Model and build. Frameless, fibreglass and steel-framed panels cost more to make than a standard aluminium-framed panel of the same wattage.
- Technology. N-type TOPCon models sit above older mono PERC stock.
- Imports and the rupee. Crown’s panels are imported, so exchange rate and tax changes reach the shop price.
- Dealer margin. Prices vary between cities, and between a dealer selling panels alone and one quoting a full system.
The frameless anti-dust idea (Vista and VistaX)
Crown’s most distinctive panels are the Vista and VistaX. They have no aluminium frame: the glass runs edge to edge, and Crown says the surface resists dust build-up. On a framed panel, dust and rainwater collect along the bottom edge of the frame and leave a muddy strip over the lowest row of cells. A frameless panel lets water and dust run off the edge. In dusty cities like Karachi, Hyderabad, Multan and Bahawalpur, that can mean fewer washes and less loss between cleanings.
The trade-off is mounting. Frameless panels need clamps designed for glass edges, fixed exactly where the manual says. A rough installer using standard frame clamps can crack the glass. Ask your installer whether they have fitted frameless panels before.
Keeping frameless panels clean
Frameless panels shed dust better, but they still need washing in Pakistan’s dry months. A few habits keep them in good shape:
- Wash early in the morning or in the evening, never with cold water on hot glass at midday.
- Use plain water and a soft brush or sponge; no detergent, no scrubbing pads.
- Never stand or kneel on the glass, and never lean ladders against the panel edge.
- After a dust storm, rinse as soon as you can; a muddy film after light rain cuts output more than dry dust.
Our solar panel cleaning guide covers how often to wash in each season.
Fibreglass and steel frames
Crown’s Fiber Glass model uses a fibre-reinforced composite frame, which Crown describes as rust-free. That makes sense near the coast in Karachi, Gwadar and Thatta, where salty air corrodes poor aluminium and steel. The Steel Frame model uses a zinc-aluminium-magnesium coated steel frame and is aimed at commercial and utility jobs that need high load resistance.
Which Crown panel fits which job
| Job | Crown model to consider | Why |
|---|---|---|
| One fan and lights, off-grid | Tiger 180–200 W | Small, light, cheap |
| Home system in a dusty city | Vista or VistaX | Frameless, sheds dust and water |
| Coastal home in Karachi | Fiber Glass | Rust-free frame |
| Standard home or shop roof | 620 Bifacial | Common size, dual glass |
| Factory, warehouse, tubewell | 710 Bifacial or Steel Frame | Fewer, larger panels |
Crown Tiger for small setups
The Crown Tiger in the 180 W to 200 W class is meant for small off-grid jobs: a shop’s lights and a DC fan, a guard room, a village home with no reliable supply. As a rule of thumb, a 200 W panel in good Pakistani sun gives around 0.8 to 1 kWh a day, enough for LED lights, a phone charger and a DC fan for several hours with a small battery. Small panel prices vary a lot by brand and grade, so get a dealer quote; for comparison, the Inverex 180 W mono PERC on our sheet is Rs 10,000.
Panel count with Crown’s larger models
| System | 620 W class panels | 700 W class panels |
|---|---|---|
| 5 kW | 9 | 8 |
| 10 kW | 17 | 15 |
| 15 kW | 25 | 22 |
Crown solar panel warranty in Pakistan
Crown advertises long warranties, but the details are thinner than they should be. Here is what Crown’s own product pages show:

| Crown model | Product and technology warranty (as shown) | Power warranty (as shown) |
|---|---|---|
| Vista, VistaX | 25 years | 30 years linear |
| 620 Bifacial | 25 years | 30 years linear |
| Fiber Glass, Steel Frame | 25 years | 30 years linear |
| 710 Bifacial | 25 years | 30 years linear |
| Tiger 180–200 W | 12 years | 25 years linear |
A 25-year product warranty is longer than the 12 to 15 years most Tier 1 brands offer on mainstream panels. However, on Crown’s pages these figures appear in warranty badges, while the written text says the warranty follows Crown’s standard policy, “terms and conditions apply”, and the detailed warranty page is marked “coming soon”. Until that page is published, protect yourself:
- Ask the dealer for Crown’s written warranty terms, not just the badge on the website.
- Get the product warranty and power warranty periods written on your invoice.
- Make sure every serial number is on the invoice.
- Ask what the warranty covers in practice: replacement panel only, or also removal, transport and refitting.
- Keep Crown’s helpline number with your papers.
The good side of a Pakistani brand is that the warranty sits with a company that has offices in Karachi and a local helpline. With a Chinese brand, your claim goes through whichever importer brought the stock in. With Crown, you can call the brand directly.
What a Crown warranty claim needs
- The original invoice with the dealer’s name, date and serial numbers.
- Clear photos of the fault and of the rear label of each affected panel.
- The installation date and the installer’s details.
- For a power claim, a test report showing output below the warranty curve.
Damage from impact, storms, wrong clamps on frameless glass or burnt connectors from poor wiring is outside any panel warranty, Crown’s included.
How to check an original Crown panel
Crown is popular and affordable, which makes it a target for copycat labels and old stock. These checks take a few minutes.
- Read the label. It should show Crown Solar Energy branding and a model code like CSE-BF or CSE-VistaX-BF, with Pmax, Voc, Isc and a serial number.
- Match the model to the build. A panel sold as Vista or VistaX should be frameless. A Fiber Glass panel should have a composite frame, not aluminium. A 620 or 710 Bifacial should have glass on the back.
- Match serials. The serial on the label should match the barcode under the front glass and the box label. No two panels should share a serial.
- Check the size against the datasheet. A “710 W” panel the size of a 550 W panel is not genuine.
- Test in sun. The open-circuit voltage measured at noon should be close to the label’s Voc, a little lower on a hot roof.
- Call the helpline. Give Crown the serial numbers and the dealer’s name and ask them to confirm.
| Red flag | What it points to |
|---|---|
| “Crown” sticker with no CSE model code | Not a Crown factory label |
| Vista sold with an aluminium frame | Wrong model or relabelled panel |
| Back sheet on a panel sold as bifacial | Not the claimed product |
| Dealer will not write the warranty on the invoice | Expect trouble with any claim |
| Price far below other Crown dealers | Old, damaged or non-genuine stock |
Old stock and older mono panels
If you are offered Crown mono PERC panels rather than one of the current N-type models, you may be looking at older stock. That is not the same as fake, but it is older technology and may have been stored badly. Check the manufacturing date on the label, look for yellowing, bubbles or scratches, and pay a lower price for older stock. If the dealer cannot tell you which model and year it is, choose a current N-type Crown model instead.
Crown vs other Tier 1 brands
Most Crown buyers are weighing it against a Tier 1 Chinese panel at a slightly higher price. At 585 W, our sheet has both.

| 585 W panel | Live price | Price per watt | Origin |
|---|---|---|---|
| Crown | Rs 23,400 | Rs 40 | Pakistani brand |
| Inverex | Rs 24,280 | Rs 41.5 | Pakistani brand |
| Jinko | Rs 25,420 | Rs 43.5 | Tier 1 manufacturer |
| Canadian | Rs 25,155 | Rs 43 | Tier 1 manufacturer |
On a 5 kW system the gap between Crown and a Tier 1 panel of the same size is often small enough that it should not be the only deciding factor. Multiply the per-watt difference in the table by 5,000 and set that figure against what matters to you: a longer advertised product warranty and a local helpline on one side, a bigger factory’s track record and higher resale value on the other.
Beyond price, the differences look like this:
| Factor | Crown | Tier 1 Chinese brand |
|---|---|---|
| Who makes the panel | Not disclosed by Crown | The brand’s own factory |
| Published datasheet detail | Partial on several models | Full datasheets |
| Product warranty shown | 25 years on most N-type models | Usually 12 to 15 years |
| Warranty handled by | Crown in Pakistan | The importer, on behalf of the factory |
| Special builds | Frameless anti-dust, fibreglass, steel frame | Mostly standard aluminium frames |
| Resale value | Lower | Higher |
The honest reading: Crown offers more variety and a longer advertised warranty at a lower price, while the Tier 1 brands offer a longer track record and fuller technical data. If you want an N-type 585 W panel from a Tier 1 maker instead, the 585 watt page lists every brand, and the best solar panels in Pakistan guide ranks them. For the other local brand, read the Inverex solar panel price page.
Crown vs Inverex
Crown and Inverex are the two Pakistani brands most buyers compare. Both also sell inverters and batteries, and neither is a listed cell and module manufacturer.
| Point | Crown | Inverex |
|---|---|---|
| Home base | Karachi | Karachi |
| Panel range | 180 W to 730 W, frameless, fibreglass and steel-frame options | Mustang N-type bifacial 585 W, Jolywood dual glass 595 W to 630 W, Mustang double glass 605 W to 620 W, HJT 695 W to 730 W coming soon |
| Advertised product warranty | 25 years on most N-type models | 10 to 15 years depending on series |
| Special feature | Anti-dust frameless designs | One brand for panel, inverter and battery |
If the prices are close, pick the brand whose dealer in your city you trust more, because after-sales service is where local brands win or lose.
Crown solar panels: pros and cons
| Pros | Cons |
|---|---|
| Usually cheaper than Tier 1 Chinese panels | Not a Tier 1 manufacturer, panel maker not disclosed |
| Pakistani company with Karachi offices and a helpline | Detailed warranty terms not yet published on its site |
| 25-year product warranty advertised on most N-type models | Efficiency and size missing from several product pages |
| Unusual builds: frameless anti-dust, fibreglass, steel frame | Frameless panels need careful, correct clamping |
| Range from 180 W up to 730 W | Lower resale value than Jinko, Longi or Trina |
Who is Crown right for? A buyer in a dusty or coastal city who likes the frameless or fibreglass designs, someone who values calling a Pakistani company directly for warranty, or a budget buyer who wants N-type panels without the Tier 1 premium. Who should think twice? Anyone who wants full datasheets, long independent field data and the best resale value.
| Buyer | Our suggestion |
|---|---|
| Budget home system, 3 to 5 kW | Crown 620 Bifacial or a Tier 1 585 W, whichever is cheaper per watt on the day |
| Dusty city, little time for cleaning | Crown Vista or VistaX |
| Coastal home in Karachi | Crown Fiber Glass |
| Long-term net-metered home, 10 kW plus | Compare Crown against a Tier 1 N-type panel side by side |
| Off-grid room or shop | Crown Tiger 180–200 W |
Where to buy Crown solar panels
Crown sells through its own offices and a network of dealers. Since dealer lists change, the safest approach is to start from the brand.

- Call Crown’s helpline (021-111-000-348) and ask for the authorised dealer nearest to you.
- Ask the dealer for a written quote with the exact model (for example 620 Bifacial or VistaX), wattage, quantity and warranty periods.
- Ask for the datasheet of that model, so your installer can design the strings.
- Check labels, build type and serials on delivery, before paying the balance.
- Keep the invoice, serial list and written warranty terms together.
| Where you buy | Good for | Watch out for |
|---|---|---|
| Crown office or authorised dealer | Genuine stock, warranty | Confirm authorisation with the helpline |
| Local solar installer | Supply and fitting together | Ask which dealer supplied the panels |
| Online listings | Comparing prices | Seller may not be authorised |
To compare Crown with every other brand we track, see solar panel brands in Pakistan, or go to the home page for the live price table.
Questions to ask a Crown dealer
- Which exact Crown model is this, and can I have its datasheet?
- Is it frameless, aluminium, fibreglass or steel framed?
- What product and power warranty will you write on the invoice?
- Does your installer have the right clamps for frameless glass?
- Who handles a claim, you or Crown directly?
Frequently asked questions
What is the Crown solar panel price in Pakistan?
The cheapest Crown panel on our sheet is currently Rs 23,400, checked on 31 Oct 2026; we track its N-type bifacial 585 W and 620 W panels, as the old 550 W mono panel is no longer sold. Frameless, fibreglass and larger bifacial models can cost more, so ask for a written quote for the exact model you want.
Who makes Crown solar panels?
Crown panels are sold by Crown Solar Energy, part of the Karachi-based Crown Group. Crown does not state on its website where its panels are manufactured.
Are Crown solar panels Tier 1?
No. BloombergNEF's Tier 1 list covers large module manufacturers, and Crown is a Pakistani brand. Crown lists IEC 61215 and IEC 61730 certification for its models, which are the basic international durability and safety tests.
What warranty do Crown solar panels have?
Crown's product pages show a 25-year product warranty and a 30-year linear power warranty on most N-type models, and 12 and 25 years on the small Tiger panels. Detailed written terms were not yet published on its site, so get the warranty periods written on your invoice.
What are Crown Vista and VistaX panels?
They are Crown's frameless full-glass panels with an anti-dust surface, rated about 575 to 590 W (Vista) and 610 to 625 W (VistaX). Without a frame, dust and rainwater run off the bottom edge instead of collecting on the cells.
Are Crown solar panels good for Karachi?
Crown's Fiber Glass model uses a rust-free composite frame, which suits salty coastal air, and the frameless Vista models help with dust. As with any panel, use correct clamps and a well-anchored structure for Karachi's sea winds.
How do I check a genuine Crown panel?
Look for Crown Solar Energy branding and a CSE model code, make sure the build matches the model (frameless, fibreglass or dual glass), and check that serials match on the label, under the glass and on the box. Then confirm the serials with Crown's helpline.
Is Crown better than Inverex?
Both are Karachi-based brands. Crown offers more panel builds and a longer advertised product warranty, while Inverex lets you buy panels, inverter and battery from one brand, so local dealer support usually decides.
