The Jinko solar panel 585 watt price in Pakistan today is Rs 25,420 per plate on our sheet, which works out to Rs 43.5 per watt. This page goes deeper than the price: the exact Tiger Neo model behind “Jinko 585”, its electrical data for matching an inverter, how many units it produces on a Pakistani roof, and how to make sure the plate you carry home is the real thing.

About the Jinko 585 watt panel

When a dealer in Pakistan says “Jinko 585”, he almost always means the Tiger Neo N-type mono-facial module, model JKM585N-72HL4-V (or the 1000 V version without the V). It is the top power bin of Jinko’s 565 to 585 W Tiger Neo 72HL4 range, built with 144 half-cut N-type TOPCon cells.

Jinko itself is a Tier 1 Chinese manufacturer founded in 2006. In January 2026 it said Tiger Neo had been the best-selling module in Pakistan for two years running, with a cumulative 13 GW shipped to the country. In plain words: the 585 W Tiger Neo is the most common solar plate on Pakistani rooftops right now, and that is why so many people search for the Jinko solar panel price in Pakistan 585 watt before anything else.

Why 585 W became the standard size:

  • It fits the same 2278 x 1134 mm frame that installers and structure makers already work with.
  • Nine plates give just over 5 kW, the most popular home system size.
  • It matches the current and voltage range of the hybrid and on-grid inverters common in the market.
  • It is the size every dealer stocks, so replacements and future add-ons are easy.

What moves the Jinko 585 price

The rate in the table changes every few days. These are the usual reasons:

DriverEffect on the 585 W price
Rupee-dollar ratePanels are imported and priced in dollars, so a weaker rupee pushes rates up within days
Factory prices in ChinaGlobal module prices have fallen sharply in recent years; when they move, Pakistani rates follow with a lag
Sales tax and dutiesThe 2025-26 federal budget set sales tax on imported panels at 10%, after an 18% proposal was reduced
SeasonDemand peaks before summer, so March to June often sees firmer prices than winter
Container arrivalsA big shipment landing at Karachi can soften rates for a few weeks

For the current tax position see our solar panel tax in Pakistan guide.

Jinko 585 watt models explained

There are two versions of the Jinko 585 W you may find in Pakistan. They look similar from the front but are built differently.

Spec (datasheet)Tiger Neo 72HL4-(V) mono-facialTiger Neo 72HL4-BDV bifacial
Model codeJKM585N-72HL4-VJKM585N-72HL4-BDV

The mono-facial version is what most homes get. The bifacial glass-glass version earns extra only when light can reach the back, for example on a raised structure above a white or light-coloured roof. On a low frame over a dark concrete roof, you are paying for weight you will not use.

Is the 585 W worth it over a 550 W Tiger Pro?

Some dealers still offer old stock of the Jinko 550 W Tiger Pro at a lower plate price. Compare per watt, not per plate:

Tiger Neo 585 WTiger Pro 550 W
Price per plateRs 25,420Rs 20,900

Unless the 550 W is clearly cheaper per watt, the 585 W wins: one plate fewer for the same system, less structure, less heat loss and five more years of power warranty.

Matching Jinko 585 plates to your inverter

A quick sanity check you can do yourself before accepting a design:

  1. Take the inverter’s maximum PV input voltage from its manual.
  2. Divide it by the panel Voc (51.16 V) and then by 1.1 to leave room for cold mornings, when voltage rises.
  3. Round down. That is roughly the most plates you can put in one string.
  4. Check the inverter’s maximum input current per MPPT is at least the panel Isc (14.55 A). Older inverters rated for 12 or 13 A per input will clip output on this panel.

If your installer’s string is longer than this rough limit, ask him to show the cold-temperature calculation. Over-voltage is one of the few ways to kill an inverter on day one.

How much electricity does one Jinko 585 make?

Pakistan gets strong sun for most of the year. As a rough planning figure, one 585 W plate produces about 2.3 to 2.7 units (kWh) a day on average across the year, or about 70 to 80 units a month. Output is highest in spring, holds up in summer despite the heat, and drops during foggy winter weeks in central Punjab.

SystemPlatesRough monthly units (yearly average)
3 kW6420 to 480
5 kW9630 to 720
10 kW181,260 to 1,440

Dust, shade from a water tank and a poor tilt can each cut these numbers by 5 to 15%.

Jinko 585 watt warranty in Pakistan

The Jinko solar panel 585 watt warranty has two parts:

  • 12-year product warranty against manufacturing defects (delamination, junction box failure, frame faults).
  • 30-year linear power warranty: at least 99% of rated power after year one, then no more than 0.40% loss a year, ending at 87.4% or more in year 30.

Here is what that guarantee means in watts for a single plate:

YearMinimum guaranteed outputWatts on a 585 W plate
199.0%about 579 W
1095.4%about 558 W
2091.4%about 535 W
3087.4%about 511 W

What can void the warranty

Jinko’s warranty covers manufacturing faults, not damage. These are the common ways buyers lose cover in Pakistan:

  • Walking on panels during installation or cleaning
  • Drilling holes in the frame to fit a structure
  • Cutting off the original MC4 connectors and joining cables with tape
  • Cleaning with hard brushes, detergents or high-pressure water on hot glass
  • Mounting on a weak structure that lets panels flex in wind storms
  • Missing invoice or serial numbers that do not match the invoice

Warranty support depends on where the panel was officially sold. Jinko’s serial check shows whether a module belongs to your country’s sales region; a plate that was diverted from another market may be genuine but not supported here. Your dealer and the importer handle claims in practice, so ask who does what and write the serial numbers on the bill.

Making a claim, step by step

  1. Note the fault: a cracked cell, a burnt junction box, or a panel reading far below its neighbours.
  2. Ask your installer to photograph the panel, its label and the fault, and to record voltage and current readings in sunlight.
  3. Contact the dealer in writing (WhatsApp is fine) with the invoice and serial number.
  4. The dealer passes the claim to the distributor or importer, who usually asks for the panel to be sent for testing.
  5. Keep copies of everything. If the dealer goes quiet, contact the importer named on your invoice directly.

Claims for a whole system losing a little output are much harder to prove than a single failed panel, so compare your inverter’s monthly generation against the same month last year rather than day to day.

How to check an original Jinko 585 panel

The 585 W Tiger Neo is the single most faked panel in Pakistan, because it is the one everyone asks for. Use these checks before money changes hands:

  1. Serial number: Jinko says its 24-digit serial is printed in a corner on the front and in the centre of the back label. Both should match.
  2. Official check: Enter the serial, with Pakistan selected, on Jinko’s authentication page on its own customer service domain (cs.jinkosolar.com). Our Jinko verification guide walks through it.
  3. Label data: The back label of a JKM585N-72HL4-V should show Voc 51.16 V, Isc 14.55 A, Vmp 42.52 V and Imp 13.76 A. Different numbers mean a different panel.
  4. Model letter: “N” after the wattage means N-type. A label reading JKM5xxM is a mono PERC Tiger Pro, not a Tiger Neo.
  5. Weight and size: The mono-facial plate is about 28 kg and 2278 x 1134 mm. A noticeably light panel is a red flag.

Delivery-day inspection

Even genuine panels can be damaged in a loader or on the stairs. Check every plate when it arrives, before the installer fixes it:

  1. Look along the glass at an angle for cracks or chips, especially at the corners.
  2. Check the frame for bends; a bent frame can stress the cells.
  3. Make sure the junction box lid is sealed and both cables and connectors are intact.
  4. Match each serial with your invoice and photograph the back label.
  5. Ask the installer to measure open-circuit voltage on each plate in sunlight; a healthy Jinko 585 will read close to its label Voc, a little lower on a hot day.

Jinko 585 vs other Tier 1 585 W panels

At 585 W the main rivals are Longi Hi-MO X7 and JA Solar DeepBlue 4.0. Astronergy’s ASTRO N5 is also sold at this size, currently from Rs 23,985 (see our Astronergy page), and Canadian Solar’s TOPHiKu6 is also sold at 585 W, currently Rs 25,155.

JA Solar DeepBlue 4.0 585 W (JAM72D40-585/MB)N-type bifacial22.65%30 yearsRs 23,545

What stands out:

  • Efficiency is a tie. Jinko and JA are both around 22.6% at 585 W, as was Longi’s older Hi-MO 6. Do not pay extra for a 0.05% difference.
  • Warranty favours N-type TOPCon. Jinko and JA give 30 years on power; the older Longi Hi-MO 6 gave 25, so check the Hi-MO X7 datasheet for its terms.
  • Heat loss is equal on paper. Jinko and the older Longi Hi-MO 6 both list -0.29%/°C; JA’s DeepBlue 4.0 lists about -0.30%/°C.
  • The real difference is price and trust. On any given day one of these brands is a few hundred rupees cheaper per plate. Check the live table and the dealer, not the brochure.

Jinko 585 vs Jinko 580: which bin?

The 580 W and 585 W are the same Tiger Neo panel, sorted by output at the factory. The 585 bin has slightly stronger cells and nothing else.

Five watts per plate is under 1%. On a nine-plate system it is 45 W, roughly 5 to 6 units a month. Pick whichever has the lower price per watt on the day, and do not mix the two bins in one string if you can avoid it.

Can you mix Jinko 585 with other brands?

It is common to add plates a year or two later, and the brand you want may not be in stock. You can mix, but follow two rules. First, keep each string to one model, because the string current is limited by the weakest panel. Second, if you put a different brand on a separate inverter input (MPPT), make sure its voltage and current suit that input. Modern 580 to 590 W plates from Jinko, Longi and JA all work at roughly 42 to 44 V at maximum power, so they usually suit the same inverter input range. Their currents differ, though (Jinko 585: 13.76 A, Longi 585: 13.24 A), which is exactly why each brand belongs on its own string.

For every brand at this size, see the 585 watt solar panel price in Pakistan page, and our best solar panels in Pakistan ranking.

Jinko 585 watt: pros and cons

ProsCons
Most common plate in Pakistan; easy to add more laterMost counterfeited plate in the market
30-year power warranty, 0.40% yearly lossOften priced a little above JA at the same size
Low temperature loss for hot summersHigh current (Isc 14.55 A) needs a modern inverter
Fits standard structures and framesMono-facial version gains nothing from a raised structure
Official serial check from JinkoWarranty runs through importer and dealer, not a local Jinko office

Will Tiger Neo 3.0 replace it? Jinko launched Tiger Neo 3.0 in Pakistan in January 2026, with ratings up to 670 W in the utility range. Over time, higher-watt plates may push the 585 W down in price, but the 2278 x 1134 mm size remains the standard for home rooftops, so the 585 should stay easy to buy and match for years.

A note on the “today” price: the rate you see at the top of this page is a market rate for genuine A-grade stock collected from the dealer. Quotes that include delivery, a structure, wiring or installation are not comparable plate for plate, so always ask for the panel price on its own line. If a dealer will only give you a package price, ask him to split it before you compare.

Who should buy it: almost any home or shop putting in 3 to 15 kW on a normal roof. Who should look elsewhere: buyers with an older inverter limited to low input current, or anyone offered a “585” at a price that sounds too good to be true.

Where to buy Jinko 585 watt panels

You can buy the Jinko 585 in every major city. The questions are price, paperwork and whether the dealer will stand behind the plate later.

  • Buy close to the importer. Large distributors and established dealers in Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Faisalabad and Multan sell at better rates and have a clear supply chain.
  • Compare full quantity rates. The price for nine or eighteen plates is often lower per plate than a single-plate quote.
  • Ask about stock age. Panels sitting in a hot godown for a long time are not ruined, but you should know when the container cleared.
  • Check freight. In Karachi you are near the port; up-country, delivery and loading can add a noticeable amount per plate.

Installation tips for Jinko 585 plates

  • Structure: A 585 W plate is a big sail in a summer storm. Use a structure rated for your city’s wind and bolt it to the roof slab, not just to bricks.
  • Tilt and direction: Face south. A tilt close to your latitude (about 25° in Karachi, 31° in Lahore, 33° in Islamabad) gives a good year-round balance.
  • Clamps: Fix the panel on the clamping zones marked in the installation manual, usually along the long frame edges.
  • Spacing: Leave a gap between rows so the front row does not shade the back row in winter, when the sun is low.
  • Cleaning: Plain water and a soft cloth, early morning or evening. Dust can cut output noticeably in Punjab and Sindh, so clean often.

Before paying, make sure your invoice shows:

  1. The full model code (JKM585N-72HL4-V or the BDV version)
  2. Every serial number
  3. The price per plate and total
  4. Who handles a warranty claim

If you are comparing with the slightly cheaper sister bin, see our Jinko 580 watt page. All brands and models are listed on solar panel brands in Pakistan.

Frequently asked questions

What is the Jinko solar panel 585 watt price in Pakistan today?

The Jinko 585 W Tiger Neo is Rs 25,420 per plate on our sheet, last updated 9 Oct 2026. The rate moves with the dollar and stock, so check the live table at the top of the page before you buy.

Which model is the Jinko 585 watt panel?

It is the Tiger Neo N-type mono-facial module, model JKM585N-72HL4-V (or the 1000 V version without the V). A bifacial glass-glass version, JKM585N-72HL4-BDV, is also sold and is heavier.

How many units does a Jinko 585 W panel produce in Pakistan?

As a planning figure, about 2.3 to 2.7 units a day averaged over the year, or roughly 70 to 80 units a month. Dust, shade and poor tilt can lower that, and foggy winter weeks in Punjab produce less.

What is the warranty on the Jinko 585 watt panel?

Jinko gives a 12-year product warranty and a 30-year linear power warranty. Output is guaranteed at 99% after the first year and at least 87.4% in year 30, with no more than 0.40% loss a year in between.

How do I know my Jinko 585 is original?

Check that the 24-digit serial on the front matches the back label, then verify it with Pakistan selected on Jinko's own authentication page. The back label should show Voc 51.16 V and Isc 14.55 A, and the plate should weigh about 28 kg.

Is the Jinko 585 better than the Jinko 580?

They are the same panel sorted into different power bins, with identical size and warranty. The 585 gives 5 W more per plate, so buy whichever has the lower price per watt on the day.

How many Jinko 585 W panels are needed for a 5 kW system?

Nine plates give about 5.27 kW. For 10 kW you need eighteen, which needs roughly 50 to 60 square metres of shade-free roof.

Can I connect Jinko 585 panels to any inverter?

Most modern inverters work, but check two limits: the string voltage must stay below the inverter's maximum PV voltage on cold mornings, and each input must accept at least 14.55 A. Some older inverters with lower input current limits will clip output.
